RESILIENCE in STEM
with UCL

RESILIENCE and UCL Biochemical Engineering are excited to be part of the very first Festival of the Boy. We recognise the need to normalise inclusion of men in traditionally female careers, and we support this. Part of this goal is to highlight the positive, supportive, and fair partnerships between men and women in the medicines manufacturing industry. Our work with UK schools and further education colleges shows young men that they can work towards any STEM career regardless of their background. We will provide fun outreach activities including virtual reality, clay modelling of
viral vectors, and molecular modelling of drugs that show how scientists make medicines.
